Fashion Bloggerdome

The image of Bryanboy and Tavi Gevinson sitting front row shoulder-t0-shoulder with international fashion editors and reporters were still fresh decorating the headlines in the fashion segment across the globe. It was such a rare occasion. Fashion is known for being niche and exclusive, and yet to invite an online persona without a credential fashion background was the "it" thing this season.

Italic
Bryanboy recently tweeted about how he was perpetuated to receive hordes of emails saying that they want to be like him or want to be next "him". I was once again left baffled. The fashion bloggerdome has been fully occupied by a series of people whose blog persona is larger-than-life. And fashion moves rapidly as fast as it changes. Soon, these bloggers will move on doing something deeper like what Bryanboy secretly discussed with the Vogue, but the stardom to fashion through blogging was permanently sealed with their butts on the front-row seats. It's passe now.

Bryanboy took more than 7 years to cradle his way into the front-row, but was act of blogging considered prominent 7 years ago? No one thinks so.It's about time that those hopefuls learn to make their own ways.

Besides, isn't fashion all about leading and less about following?
